The Mississippi Gulf Coast Symphony closes the season with Beethoven & Blue Jeans — a relaxed, high-energy concert experience where great music meets a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The program features Beethoven’s dramatic Egmont Overture, the vibrant and jazz-infused Jazz Concerto by Greg Yasinitsky, the driving folk-inspired energy of Kilar’s Orawa, and the exhilarating dances from Ginastera’s Estancia. Blending classical masterworks with jazz rhythms and electrifying orchestral color, Beethoven & Blue Jeans invites audiences to enjoy symphonic music in a fresh, approachable, and exciting way.
